Since 2002, the Assisi Development Foundation, Inc. (ADF) has been accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC), demonstrating its unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance. For over two decades, ADF has consistently undergone PCNC’s rigorous accreditation process—not only to maintain its donee institution status with the Bureau of Internal Revenue but, more importantly, to uphold the highest ethical standards in the NGO sector.
ADF is widely recognized as one of the country’s most reputable NGOs, pioneering initiatives that promote peace, justice, equity, and sustainable development. Its work has earned the trust and support of donors, government agencies, religious groups, and civil society organizations. In collaboration with development partners, ADF has established programs that address poverty and inequality through sustainable agriculture, culture-based education, innovative healthcare solutions for marginalized communities, and capacity-building for people’s organizations.
The steadfast support of esteemed NGOs like ADF enables PCNC to strengthen its role as a credible, self-regulatory body for the sector. Beyond evaluating and granting donee institution status, PCNC fosters peer-based support, helping NGOs enhance their organizational capacity while adhering to principles of integrity, transparency, accountability, and excellence. PCNC accreditation and its seal of good governance empower NGOs to operate more effectively and gain greater credibility with donors and partners.
We believe that, in its own way, PCNC has contributed to ADF’s organizational growth over the years. ADF has diligently implemented recommendations from PCNC accreditations, demonstrating its dedication to continuous improvement. At the same time, PCNC and its evaluators have gained valuable insights from ADF—particularly in program delivery, human resource management, and exemplary leadership.
PCNC is deeply grateful to ADF for its far-reaching impact, benefiting hundreds of thousands of marginalized Filipinos. We also thank ADF for recognizing PCNC as a valued partner in community transformation and nation-building.
