As Assisi Development Foundation (ADF) marks its 50th anniversary, we at Pondo ng Pinoy Community Foundation are deeply grateful for our enduring partnership, founded on our shared Catholic faith and mission to uplift the poor. This divine collaboration has been instrumental in guiding countless individuals toward their fullest human potential.

Our journey together began when His Eminence Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales, D.D., founder of Pondo ng Pinoy, and Ambassador Howard Dee of ADF united with a common vision: to bring the Kingdom of God—characterized by fullness of life—to those most in need. At Pondo ng Pinoy, we believe in the power of small acts of kindness, rooted in love for God and neighbor. Our partnership with ADF has been crucial in bringing this vision to life.

Since 2007, Pondo ng Pinoy has embraced ADF’s Hapag-Asa Program, which nourishes undernourished children and instills a culture of sharing, inspired by the Miracle of the Loaves and Fish. Beyond addressing malnutrition, the program empowers parents to provide better care for their children and strengthens entire communities through faith-driven service.

Over the years, our partnership has evolved to meet the changing needs of those we serve. During the pandemic, ADF swiftly adapted its processes, ensuring continued support despite the challenges. This period of hardship also strengthened our collaboration, as we worked together—even virtually—to find new ways to uplift the poor and empower our partner communities.

A key outcome of this partnership has been the growing ownership of Hapag-Asa by local dioceses, ensuring the program’s sustainability and deeper impact. Through shared faith and continuous innovation, we have discovered new ways to serve, uplift, and transform lives.
