The Local Government Unit of Botolan wholeheartedly recognizes and appreciates the invaluable contributions of the Assisi Development Foundation, Inc. (ADFI) to our municipality, particularly in advancing land and livelihood (L&L) initiatives in the eastern barangays. This inclusive approach, built on extensive consultations and dialogues with diverse tribal clans and families, has been both challenging and essential.

Despite many challenges, the dedicated community workers of ADFI, alongside our esteemed partner, the Lyceum of the Philippines University, have immersed themselves in the traditions and way of life of our Ayta brethren, fostering a deep respect for their rich cultural heritage. We commend these extraordinary individuals who travel long hours on difficult roads to reach our eastern communities. Their dedication, hard work, and humility demonstrate that sustainable progress in indigenous communities requires consistent effort and genuine commitment.
