Congratulations on 50 years of transforming lives! Since 1974, your work has touched countless individuals and communities, and we at Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) are honored to be part of this journey.
Our partnership has been more than collaboration—it has been a shared mission for lasting change. Through the Indigenous Peoples Education Program, we have established three IP schools, developed culture-based curricula, and created learning materials in Subanon and Sama Bangingi. Seeing children read and write in their native languages is not just education—it’s cultural preservation and empowerment.
Through PEACEPATHS, we’ve helped communities build resilience, training 165 IP leaders, installing six water systems, and providing livelihood support to 112 families. Seeing local leaders take charge of their development has been truly inspiring.
The Feeding Program, serving 2,667 children across 10 barangays from 2011 to 2024, reminds us why this work matters. Each meal contributes to healthier, more hopeful communities, with children showing significant nutritional improvement.
Rooted in our Filipino, Catholic, and Jesuit values, ADZU is committed to making a difference in Western Mindanao. With ADFI, we’ve achieved far more than we could alone. We’ve learned together, overcome challenges, and celebrated successes.
Looking ahead, ADZU remains committed to this partnership. Your 50 years of service have made a profound impact, and we are grateful to walk this path with you.
Pro Deo et Patria—For God and Country.
